Alec Teffeteller lives in Southern California with his family and his two dogs, Ghost and Maverick. His Young Adult fantasy novel,
The Order of Akriel, is currently being submitted to literary agents for traditional publication.
In 2024, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from California Baptist University with a BFA in Creative Writing and is currently enrolled in Chapman University’s MFA in Creative Writing with a focus on Young Adult Fiction.

SYNOPSIS
When an order of elemental Druids departs the Eldon Kingdom, they leave Leoric behind, orphaned and alone. Now, he poses as a powerless mortal, clinging to the threads of peace he knows won’t last. An ominous whisper arrives on the wind to warn of the coming Den of Dusk, led by the royal heir of a vengeful bloodline. The band of brutal thieves butcher Leoric’s sister and burn the home he built to keep her safe.
When the corrupt king spits in the face of Leoric’s plea for justice, the half-blood Druid severs his sacred promise to his sister, unleashing the murderous monster he’s concealed for ten years to pursue her killers. But no amount of blood spilled will heal his shattered heart, nor his love for the Eldon Princess, cursed with a madness inherited from her late mother.
Leoric must forsake his vendettas and desires, embrace the monster within, and wield his dark magic to mend this broken kingdom, lest it return to an age of tyranny and ruin.
